Domaine des Peirecèdes et Château la Tulipe Noire
to 16.1 Km in our area
Located on the outskirts of HYERES and TOULON, in the Var, in the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region, the family estate of Domaine des PEIRECEDES , founded in 1900, unfolds its 50-hectare carpet of vines between Cuers and Pierrefeu, at the gateway to the Maures, in the Côtes-de-Provence appellation area. Nestled on the edge of the Mediterranean, near Le Pradet, Château La Tulipe noire , the "daughter" house of the PEIRECEDES, came to expand production when Audrey arrived on the estate in 2008. The family cultivates 25 hectares of vines planted on the hillside and caressed by the sea breeze . Audrey and Leslie Baccino, the 5th generation at the head of the estate, work as a family with Alain and Véronique, their parents, on these lands cultivated using organic farming . All of the production of the two wine-growing entities is processed in the PEIRECEDES cellar built in 1991 by Alain and Véronique. Reds, whites and rosés bear the names of their lands of origin with their distinct identities. A close-knit family of winegrowers, within which each member holds a designated position, the Baccinos are committed to preserving the environment . Their vintages are vinified with infinite precision. Audrey, the winemaker for both estates, puts her expertise and sense of harmony at the service of the terroir. Don't hesitate to stop by one of the two tasting rooms to explore the range of vintages from these twinned properties and stock up on local products. In the heart of the vineyard, there are charming country houses scattered around that can even be rented for a few days during a wine-growing or sporting getaway in the region! A bright reception room offering a breathtaking view of a sea of vines as well as the Pierrefeu rock is at your disposal for your seminars, conferences, baptisms, etc.

Château des Bormettes

Nestled around the majestic Pic Saint-Martin, the Domaine des Bormettes is a centuries-old family gem. This jewel is distinguished by its vast vineyard, one of the oldest in the commune of La Londe les Maures, and its exceptional 17th century vaulted cellar, a unique and rare building in Provence, which today houses around thirty barrels intended for the aging of the Domaine's high-end wines. Recognized each year by prestigious media such as Le Monde des Vins, Le Figaro, Le Point, l'Express, the Guide Hachette or the Revue du Vin de France, Château des Bormettes is also hailed by the Bettane and Desseauve Guide as a "rising star of the La Londe appellation". Here, the sun and the vines dance together to give life to grapes bursting with Mediterranean flavors and wines that are the scene of spectacular tastings. And beyond the quality of the wines that we invite you to discover, we invite you to come and enjoy a unique experience of sharing and discovery with our team.

Domaine de la Portanière

In the land of Rosé, the Domaine is located in the Var between Collobrières and Pierrefeu, on the foothills of the Maures. Let yourself be guided by the majestic paths of pines and stones which will guide you to the cellar. The winegrowers invite you to the heart of their profession around a wine tasting. Our vineyard, 13 ha of vines, spreads over the schist hillsides which come from the alteration of the primary rocks of the crystalline Massif des Maures. Its mainly southern and south-western exposure ensures long sunny days until the mild hours of sunset. At the edge of a collapsed valley, the vineyard benefits from thermal winds which gently sweep across the vineyard every morning. It is part of a typical landscape composed of cork oaks, umbrella pines, heather and strawberry trees. The estate is fully classified in the Côtes de Provence Protected Designation of Origin area.
